Peptide reconstitution calculator for laboratory research

This interactive peptide reconstitution calculator helps you plan in-vitro work before mixing. Enter vial strength in mg, bacteriostatic water volume in ml, and your target microgram quantity to see insulin syringe units and concentration (mcg per unit).

How does a reconstitution calculator work?

A peptide reconstitution calculator determines how much bacteriostatic water to add to your research compound to reach your desired concentration in mcg per syringe unit. Use it for BPC-157, Semax, TB-500, Selank, or any lyophilized research peptide with a known vial mass.

How to use this calculator

Calculating the correct dilution for research peptides requires understanding the relationship between the weight of the peptide (mg), the volume of the solvent (ml), and the desired research target (mcg).

  • Peptide Amount (mg): This is the total mass of the peptide in your vial. For example, many catalog vials are sold at 5 mg or 10 mg lyophilized strength.
  • Water Amount (ml): This is the volume of Bacteriostatic Water you add to the vial. Most researchers use 1ml to 3ml depending on the desired concentration.
  • Target Quantity (mcg): This is the specific amount you intend to use in your laboratory application. 1mg = 1000mcg.

The result is provided in Units, which corresponds to the markings on a standard 1ml (100-unit) insulin syringe. If you are using a 0.5ml or 0.3ml syringe, the unit markings remain the same.
